i just came back from a holiday there but im going back in august!!!!!!!!! The jumps and the cantering on the beach were amazing i absolueley love sage and phantom!!!!!!!!!!

Ellendude – you can …
Ellendude – you can be experienced as you like, they split the rides into groups when you get to the beach so people of similar abilities are together. If you tell them your experience level they’ll pick you a suitable horse.
Colaroid – shame about your experience, but there’s not much anyone can do about tides, there’s no point going to a beach at high tide – there’s no sand! When it’s low tide in the daytime, there are beach rides, but obviously the timings change according to the tide.

I tried out the beach ride they do at Nolton, and it was so amazing that I begged my parents to let me go again. Cantering along a beach is the most amazing experience, all the horses are lovely, and you always feel completely safe thanks to the experienced rider helpers who come along to make sure you’re okay. I recomend this. Amaazing. =)

EAST NOLTON RIDING STABLES- sold my best friend MR BO JANGLES a lovely good pony- welsh section C black with white markings 13.1-13.2hhs gelding- he was wicked and i miss him so much! i love him dearly and miss him loads! i was 1 of the Saturday girls/Nolton crew helping out by mucking out,grooming,tacking up and riding the young/green ponies paying 20-30pounds 4 1day!me nd bo we the best team ever SJ,XC nd hackin the best times i had with BO.J but they sold him it broke my heart! miss you BO!
I have been trying …
I have been trying to book beach riding with these people for months. They won’t let you book until 2 weeks before you ride. I have now booked time off work and a campsite (paid for) I rang and they told me there may be no beach riding due to the tide. Not made clear on the website which just says beach riding is possible during high season (which it is!). The lovely present of the vouchers my boyfriend got me are therefore pretty much useless!
I am going to Wales …
I am going to Wales this year on holiday and the place I am staying is near this stables. I have been riding for about 5 years now, and can walk, trot and canter confidently, I have galloped a few times – but only intentionally on one pony.
I was wondering if anyone who has perhaps been there before knew how experienced you have to be to do the beach rides, as I have only ridden once before on the beach and that was quite a disaster haha!

I went there with my boyfriend for our 7 year anniversary. He is petrified of horses but went anyway – now he loves it and wants to go back – cantering on the beach is the best. Anyone who can go do it you wont regret it!
